Orientation & early stages of study
In order to support academic success, PerLe – Projekt erfolgreiches Lehren und Lernen (project for successful teaching and learning) is directed both at school pupils and other prospective students on the one hand and at first-year students on the other.
Study orientation
Programmes for prospective students aim to review their expectations of the subject and everyday student life so that prospective students have the opportunity to work out what they want to study at an early stage. They can attend a workshop to help them make their decision called "Studieren, aber was?" (study - but what?) as well as a workshop called "Ask a student” to find out about their chosen subject.
Early stages of studying
In order to support new students in the early stages of their degrees, PerLe offers various measures in cooperation with different faculties, institutes and departments at Kiel University. Preparatory courses and tutorials during the semester offer students the tools and strategies they need for independent study.
